March is National Craft Month

Did you know March is National Craft Month? To tell you the truth, I didn't either, I'm ashamed to say. Until I read about this month's topic for the blog carnival, I didn't know.
The fact that National Craft Month exists is very important to me because, for one, I am a crafter. I think it is important to me and to a lot of people that it is recognized and other people who don't craft, realize that just cause we do it for fun doesn't mean it doesn't take a lot of work, because it does.
I'm glad there is a National Craft Month because people will get to see what beautiful items and crafts are out there. We should all go out and buy, buy, buy!

I am happy (and suprised) to say that I actually knew that...did I know that last year? nope :)

yay for craft month! i had no idea but im so glad i do now.
You gotta love craft month...but all those different things March celebrates, makes me wonder if the whole thing has gotten out of hand. Where did this all come from anyway? Well, I'm not going to worry, I'm just going to keep on crafting.
hopefully this will give the arts and crafts movement I little recognition. Can't hurt!
